Rejected by the U.S. Army, Elliot Hecht joined the newly formed O.S.S., spying on the Nazis from across the border in Switzerland. Little did he know that this "backwater" assignment would hurl him into the heart of the greatest secret of the war: an underground laboratory where a Nazi genius was building a killer robot with human brains torn from living skulls. The only weapon capable of taking on the Reich's Man of Iron was a similar creature, Golden Boy, based on an exhibit at the 1939 World's Fair. Like Iron Man, Golden Boy was a creation with a mind and will of its own. These robots have their own agendas, which have little to do with humankind's petty wars. The turn of the next century, 2006, finds the descendants of Allied scientists - an idealistic young man and a woman as beautiful as she is brilliant - racing to stop the climactic battle of this superhuman conflict before all civilization is destroyed.
